Tips and Tricks
It’s time to start loving your headshots.
1. Keep it simple & professional
Solid colors work best. Avoid busy patterns, logos, or overly bright colors. Blazers, cardigans, or structured jackets add polish and dimension, but choose attire that reflects your professional role.
2. Posing & Posture
Stand or sit tall with relaxed shoulders. Good posture conveys confidence. If you are unsure how to pose or stand – don’t worry, we will guide you the entire time.
3. Expression & Energy
Relax your face, take a few deep breaths before starting. A relaxed face looks more natural. A genuine expression is what makes you feel most confident.
4. Grooming & Appearance
Style your hair as you normally would. You may want to bring a brush or comb for touch-ups. Ladies – we can edit those pesky fly aways! Trim or groom facial hair neatly. Clean-shaven or well-maintained beards both work.
5. Communicate Your Goals
Let us know how you plan ot use your headshot (LinkedIn, website, etc.). We will help you pose and feel like your most confident self!

How do I pay?
On-site at the time of your sessions. No credit card required to make a session reservation!
Where will the headshots be?
Each one will be in a different location. You’ll receive session details in your inbox prior to your session time with exact location details.
How long will it take to get the final photos?
2-3 weeks after your session, maybe sooner!
Do you do small touchups and edits?
Yes, if there’s anything you’d like touched up, we can do that for you. Minor edits are included in the session package.
